LOOK: The new Rupp Arena floor is here and it’s beautiful
The new Rupp Arena floor has arrived, folks. And it’s gorgeous (and very, very blue).
After years of the checkerboard and giant Central Bank stickers, the Kentucky men’s basketball home court has finally been transformed. The blues are deeper, the stickers and checkerboard are gone, and there’s a beautiful outline of the state of Kentucky surrounding the center UK logo.
Check it out in all its glory below. Kentucky will debut the new floor later this afternoon when the Wildcats host UNC-Wilmington at 4:00 p.m. EST on the SEC Network.
